PRODUCERS / TURNTABLISTS.
183 is putting out a turntablist compilation.
This is an invitation to get down.
After the huge success of the FOUR ELEMENT EFFECT CD, ONE EIGHT THREE has decided to focus on the
talents of local producers, DJS and turntablists. We realise how hard it is to get your product out.
So ONE EIGHT THREE is inviting all HIP HOP producers and turntablists from within the Southern Hemisphere region to put an instrumental track forward for the comp.
The compilation will be strictly instrumental turntablism and will feature our three favourite tracks received from each state. These tracks will be put out on limited edition vinyl and each artist will receive a number of copies for their use. Tracks can be up to 7 minutes.
So if you want your skills to be put out on wax send us your best track. Help us promote your talents.
DEADLINE - 31-4-2001 (late submissions cannot be accepted)
RELEASE DATE 1-7-2001
REQUIREMENTS - Tracks can be forwarded on dat, CD, mini-disc or similar standard. If you want your track returned please include your address.
MASTERING - will be handled by JIGZAW GEOFF -BLUNTED STYLISTS - RESIN DOGS
The compilation will be limited to 500 vinyl pressings and a limited number of CDs.
MEDIA - The FOUR ELEMENT EFFECT CD was reviewed in the following so we would expect similar media coverage - JUICE, 3D WORLD, CATALOGUE, HIP HOP CONNECTION, MINNI, SLAM, ESKY, TRIPLE J, 4ZZZ, GROOVE FM, COMMUNITY RADIO across the land...
