The is one of the first walls Tash and I painted together in the year 2003. Thanks to our mate ROMS who hooked up the wall. ROMS has been painting in Brisbane for years. If you are down in Annerley, Brisbane or on the Beenleigh train line look at the window near the suburb called Fairfield.... This wall has a long history as do all good walls. It was bombed and cleaned for years.... if you know brisbane well you will know this wall. Now some graff kitsch... to make the mom and pops smile. The angel is spreading love and peace. ![]()
The letter styles are good and well worth checking out. Tash painted the 3d style in a illusionistic fashion. Props to Uncle LOOMIT for taking graffiti into the 21st century. I added a little 3d funk to a traditional New York lettering style. Hard edge dark outline with some simple to colour shades in the 3d. Makes it pop well. The background is pure cheese. The death of ancient rome... we wish!!!Ps thanks to BUTTER BEATS RECORD STORE for sponsoring the paint. Strictly a Belton and Dulux production.
