DJANGUS and DJ Kristian both representing in the 4 Elements Theory tee.

The routines were to be 6 minutes each. Each contestanthad the use of two Technics and a mixer.

The winner was decided on originality,showmanship, skill, overall feel and the other standard criteria. The fourjudges were DAMAGE, ANGUS, KSINO and an overseas guest judge. The contest was organisedby DJ Kristian and The team at the FUBAR, Paddington.

The winnerwas the well deserving MASTER from the North Coast. The Master won a newTechnics mixer for his troubles. DJ Kristian was second with avery smooth and professional routine. DJ Sheep , just back fromthe United States surprised everyone by his routine. Although he did have tostop half way thru his routine to fix a ‘technical problem’.

Crowd support was definitely feeling the Master and DJ Kristian during thecomp. There were atleast 150- 200 fans of turntablism that turned up. DJDEXTA the Australian champ was the guest DJ for the night and he put on amad display. The best part of which for me was the use of the classical beats.
