FEEL THE FORCE
I hooked up with writers EVA and SPICE late last year at the Sydney launch of Blitzkrieg's "Four Element Effect" CD. Spice is a working mother who still finds the time to regularly paint and rock to jams.
ENIGMA, yet another female writer from California wrote to me after seeing me in the first ever female graf zine BY female writers! [Look out for the Tash cover!;)] Numero uno of CLANDESTILO magazine features YOLIE, VANS, PINK, ESA, DUENDE and ZIWA. I love the security of knowing the same zine aint going to have some slack advertising on the next page or whatever....look forward to the next issue! Mexican chicas stand strong!
Check out the wedding flix of Clore and Scien B> on the CNS site. Girlfriend even manages to paint and stay clean in her beautiful white dress!!! http:/www.cnskillz.com
BRIXX, a lady emcee from Germany recently dropped an infectious double LP through German Sony featuring guest spots by contemporaries such as Bahamadia and MOS DEF.
TEK9 from the Jazz Fudge label in the UK dropped a superb, slept upon album with What What and Pariss emceeing in some dope tracks! "Seven Days" featuring MC Pariss with DJ SPINNA remix on the 12inch is a winner...
Aahh...another dope female posse cut distributed by Buds International, New York featuring: NICKI D, PAULA PERRY [yo, where's your long player P?], the beautiful RAH DIGGA, HEATHER B [the bullet proof lyricist], PRECIOUS P and BAHAMADIA, quality "six-pack". Damn! I wish the Status Quo [bahamadia and some other b-girl] record I ordered would come in....
Old school deejay JAZZY JOYCE dropped a party track "Paper chaser" on AV8 records...Hadn't heard her on wax since the last Digable Planets LP.

Emcee Thorn from Sydney/Milano won Sydney's Big Day Out Emcee competition in the 'Boiler Room' against eight other local emcees! Here is a snapshot of Thorn catching wreck at the festival, reaching crowds of up to 100, 000!! [Although many flock to the main stage and stalls.] Her homeboy Dj Skizo is touring with Mike Patten and Mr. Bungle round round all major cities next week. A teen queen deservedly won the Perth Big Day Out comp.
I hear Trey was on ABC's 10:30 slot. Trey and the Mother Tongue crew are on this week's BIG ISSUE magazine nation wide. Buy it whenever you get a chance! Trey's new record "Daily Affirmations" will be available at the end of this month and she had her club launch some nights ago with Thorn emceeing the night and a guest bgirl from Switzerland taking care of the floorwork.
ESA, a female writer from California called us up for hookups in Sydney and Melbourne last month- having a great time painting in Melbourne. Someone saw a wholecar from a female writer done over there last month too! It's online on some Melbourne graf site apparently.
BELA/TRUCE from Perth has been rockin' interstate alot too lately...send them photos in!
There's a new hard covered fantastic book outta Sweden [hello to my relatives] called "They Call us Vandals" which interviews a fantastic new writer in her teens called KARMA. Look out for her work in UP.

Fran, a fourteen year old girl I met at Butter Beats and I dropped some bubbly chromies the other week at Altandi station. [Gotta get them into it while they're young!]
